The Tanah Abang Sector Police has seized hundreds of firecrackers from a kiosk on Jalan Bunder, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Monday (5/300 night. The raid is conducted to follow up public complaint.

Chief of Tanah Abang Sector Police Detective and Criminal Unit, Sr. Comr. Mustakim disclosed firecracker raid aims to anticipate brawl action ahead of Ramadhan.

"We seize 18 packs of korek firecracker or 180 thousand pieces," he stated, Tuesday (5/31).

Unluckily the firecracker owner successfully ran away during the raid.

"But we already have the owner identity. And now he is under hunting status," he expressed.

He added, besides firecracker, the officer also confiscates liquor bottles in Tanah Abang area, precisely from a stall in Jati Bunder VII.

"Further, these firecrackers and liquor bottles will be brought to Tanah Abang Sector Police as evidence," he closed.
