Channel in Kampung Muara Bahari Strewn with Garbage

A water channel that located in Kampung Muara Bahari residential, RT 15, Tanjung Priok Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district, complained. This is because the channel is full of garbage and mud. 

Usually PPSU officer routinely cleans up the channel. But it is dirty again now

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com's data, garbage is almost spreading in all channels as long as 300 meters at RT 05/15, Tanjung Priok. Due to high water, garbage pilling up at some points of manhole covers.

Munadi (49), a local citizen disclosed, garbage is because the channel has not been cleaned for long time. Whereas, the officer has routinely cleaned it fortnightly.

"Usually PPSU officer routinely cleans up the channel. But it is dirty again now," he expressed, Tuesday (5/31).

Considering the place is prone to flooding when rain pours, he asks PPSU to immediately clean up the channel soon.

Tanjung Priok Urban Village Head, Ma'mun expressed his side will check the channel. If it is true, it is natural, because it has not been cleaned more than two weeks.

"These two weeks, we will concentrate them in the channels along protocol roads such as Jl RE Martadinata and Enggano," he finished.
