300 huts in Tanjung Priok Demolished

Around 300 huts in around Tanjung Priok Train Station, Tanjung Priok Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district, North Jakarta were demolished by the officer, Thursday (6/2).

Those huts have caused the place slum and endanger the railway traffic

Tanjung Priok Sub-district Head, Syamsul Huda disclosed that 500 joint officers of Satpol PP, Pamdal KA, PPSU, army and police are sent to demolish the illegal huts in the field.

"Those huts have caused the place slum and endanger the railway traffic," he expressed, Thursday (6/2).

20 Illegal Huts in Karet Semanggi Controlled

According to procedure, prior to controlling, the urban village officer had sent warning letter to immediately leave the building within 3x24 hours. But until, 300 huts are still occupied and then controlled forcibly.

"Additionally, we do this to create safety and convenience for local citizens in running the fasting," he finished.
