Central Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Sovereignty Sub-dept recorded there have been 2,332 animals prone to rabies vaccinated along January-May 2016. 

From January-May, we have vaccinated 2,332 pets

Head of Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Sovereignty Sub-dept , Hasudungan said vaccination is routinely given to maintain the city from rabies that has happened since 2004.

"From January-May, we have vaccinated 2,332 animals," he told, Monday (6/6).

He expressed, those 2,332 pets consist of 1,310 dogs, 991 cats, 20 monkeys and 11 ferrets/ This year, we are targeting to vaccinate 3,000 animals that prone to rabies.

"This month, vaccination is intensified in Gambir Sub-district," he closed.
