Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama, is about to audit electricity purchase in the Rawa Bebek Flat, because a few citizens complaining the expensive electric bill in the flat.

"It must be checked. We will do audit," he stated, at City Hall, Friday (6/10).

Supposedly, citizens are allowed to purchase an electricity token outside the flat. They can buy it anywhere. The citizens should make a report if there is a citizen asked to purchase token through the flat manager.

"Token can be bought anywhere. Perhaps the manager just wants to get easier. That's why they sent a letter to us, don't just slander," he expressed.

Previously, a few citizens complained the expensive electric bill. They purchased token from the flat manager and its content does not correspond to the nominal amount purchased.

Each token purchase is Rp 50 thousand, only contains 36 kilovolt amps. Thus it can only be used for six days. Even, the content was previously only 23 kilovolt amps. After all citizens protest, the token content has increased up to 36 kilovolt amps. 

Regarding token purchase must pass through the flat manager because it is a system of PLN. PLN sells electric logs to the flat through the existing substation. From substation, electric then flowed to hundreds units. It is not sold per unit, thus the payment of electricity bills was carried through electric logs from the manager to PLN.
