Jakarta Provincial Government is about to construct and repair sidewalk at 48 location in 42 sub-districts. Rp 250 billion has been prepared to realize the project.

Those six locations are in Tanah Abang, Caringin, around Daan Mogot flat, around Rawamangun terminal, Pluit, and Blok M

Head Section of Planning for Road and Utility Infrastructures, Jakarta Dept. of Bina Marga, Riri Asnita, said the repair will be run for six locations by her side. While the rests are run by local agencies.

“Those six locations are in Tanah Abang, Caringin, around Daan Mogot flat, around Rawamangun terminal, Pluit, and Blok M,” he said, Sunday (6/12).

According to her each locations to be constructed has been examined fully. “Mostly the sidewalk is built near station, market, school, terminal, stores, and public center,” he added.

Her side has also cooperated with related units to prevent the sidewalk is used by street vendors and ojek base.

“The project is targeted to complete by the end of this year,” she closed.
