Satpol PP Alerted in Suropati Park to Banish PKL

Central Jakarta Administration has deployed Satpol PP personnel to Suropati Park and its surrounding area. It is done after getting an instruction of Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama who wanted the park should be sterile from street vendors (PKL) and illegal parking.

Based on Beritajakarta.com observations, a number of Satpol PP seen alert and block the street vendors in Suropati Park and its surrounding areas. There is none of the usual vendors offering food and drinks to visitors.
Nevertheless, a number of vehicles are still doing illegal parking around the park, precisely in Menteng, Central Jakarta.

He added his side has conducted patrol routinely in the park and crack down on vendor. The patrol will be more intensified in accordance with instruction of Jakarta Governor.
"If they still open the stall, we will control them forcibly," he finished.
