Jl RE Martadinata Inundated

Due to rain and rob (tidal wave), Jl RE Mardinata from Ancol towards Tanjung Priok is inundated as high as 20 centimeters. As a result, water on the street cannot flow into Ancol through the gutter.

Based on Beritajakarta.com observations, inundation along Jl RE Martadinata is inundated some points, precisely from the bend near Ancol Pump House bridge until intersection towards office of North Jakarta District Court. The water level reaches 100 meters long and 10-15 centimeters high.

Muslimin, (52), a citizen of RW 14, Tanjung Priok Urban Village disclosed rain poured since 7 AM and lasted for an hour plus rob that reached about 30 centimeters high.

"This morning, the inundation had hit 30 centimeters. But now, it has been receded gradually up to 20-25 centimeters," he stated, Friday (7/1).

Tanjung Priok Urban Village Head, Ma'mun expressed. to minimize inundation near Folker Bridge, when rain stops, his side has sent 15 PPSU officers to clean the gutter thus water can flow into Ancol River.

"Due to tidal wave, water cannot flow. But now, inundation has started to recede gradually," he reported.
