July 18, Local Treasury Service Tested in Seribu Islands

Seribu Islands Regency Administration is about to conduct trials on tax and local treasury retribution service. Thus, citizens no longer need to the land to access the Seribu Islands Local Treasury Services Office (KPKD).

Seribu Islands Communication, Informatic and Public Relations Sub-dept Head, Bandok Priambodho disclosed, trial is planned to begin on July 18. Later on, the service that is still conducted at North Jakarta Samsat office, Jl Gunung Sahari, can be moved to the island.

"V-sat will be migrated to the new technologies thus we can do cost efficiency by a third. Thus the service can be made directly from the island," he said, Saturday (7/16).

He assessed, it could be held because a virtual private from Seribu Islands, has been connected in mid-May. Nowadays, virtual private has been tested accommodate the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP).

"Before this the service is done manually or on the land. That's why, after PTSP is success, we will test local treasury retribution," he added.
