Blaze in Pasaraya Manggarai is Rumors

The Pasaraya Manggarai that is located on Jalan Sultan Agung, South Jakarta, was rumored in fire, Wednesday (5/7). At that time, peddlers who were ready to open the stalls immediately panic when they saw fire trucks of South Jakarta Fire and Disaster Handling Sub-Department arrived at the market.

After coordinating with security officers in Pasaraya Manggarai, there is no fire

Arman, a fireman of Tebet post disclosed that at around 9.30 AM, he got orders from the office of South Jakarta Fire and Disaster Handling Sub-Department at Lebak Bulus, to go to the Pasaraya Manggarai due to fire incident.

He then deployed three fire trucks to the scene. "After coordinating with security officers in Pasaraya Manggarai, there is no fire," he expressed.

Istanto, a security officer at Pasaraya Manggarai, admitted that he was surprised saw fire trucks arrived in the market at around 9.45 AM. "Two fire trucks parked in the front yard and one another behind the market," he told.

Until now, he explained, his side does not know who is spreading the fire rumors.

Pasaraya Manggarai remains open as usual and buyers have started to flock to the market.
