Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama will focus the subsidy disbursement for housing and transportation. Those two factors influence the city inflation much.

“It’s our focus. High inflation is caused by housing and transportation sector,” he said, Tuesday (8/2).

Basuki will prepare Public Service Obligation (PSO) for transportation by Rp 3.2 trillion next year. The subsidy will be allocated for Transjakarta bus passenger and bus purchasing.

As for housing sector, his side will keep developing flat for riverbank, reservoir, and dense population citizens.

“Next year inflation should decline,” he added.

Moreover, he will ask developers who have not given their obligation to pursue the infrastructure development. It is aimed to avoid city budget burden in infrastructure project.
