Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama met Minister of National Development Planning Sofyan Djalil to coordinate legalization of neglected state-owned assets.

For land and building value under Rp 2 billion, its land and building acquisition fees (BPHTB) will be made zero

"For land and building value under Rp 2 billion, its land and building acquisition fees (BPHTB) will be made zero, thus citizens with income below UMP could save money for processing land certificate," disclosed Basuki, at the office of National Development Planning Ministry, Jl Sisingamangraja, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Thursday (8/11).

He added that the policy or local program about BPHTB deletion for asset under Rp 2 billion is to assist the ministry in legalizing every land plot in the city, through Jakarta APBD as well as to lighten the poor's burden in getting certificate.

"By so, if every plot is certified with data per RT in each region, it can anticipate land mafia," he uttered.
