Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama said will not demolish the building on ex-British embassy land. The building will be used as cultural heritage. It was built in the period of Netherlands.

The building will be used as traffic management by Jakarta Dept. of Transportation. Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) will be provided to monitor all transport.

His side will also prepare press conference room since the area will be also provided as aspiration park.
