Transjakarta Serves 3,000 Passengers Every Day

PT Transjakarta serves more than 3,000 passengers for free every day. It is only given to those who have KJP, disabled people, flat occupant, army, police, veteran, etc.

PT Transjakarta Director, Budi Kaliwono disclosed bus fare alby Rp 3,500 per person have got subsidy from city government. Yet for some elements get additional facility, that is riding the bus for free.

Transjakarta Targets 15 Million Passenger Per Month

"Per day, we serve 3,000 passengers for free," he stated, Saturday (9/3). 

According to him, there are 12 points of passengers who can get free service, namely KJP holder, flat occupant, army, police, veteran, elderly people, disabled people and so forth.

"They get the privilege so do not need to pay, as long as the cards," he said.

Particularly for the flat, 40 buses are ready to serve at 10 flats. For additional bus, his side will coordonate with City Housing and Government Building Dept. 

On the other hand, Jakartans can enjoy free bus service in some routes. Besides tour bus, single bus is also provided for free. The bus serves from Harmoni-Senayan Roundabout.

"In future, we'll add the bus. The tour bus is targeted to be added 40 units thus service optimal," he disclosed.
