151,941 SD/MI/SDLB Students to Take National Exam on Monday

As many as 151,941 students of SD/MI/SDLB will take the national exam on Monday (5/19) until Wednesday (5/21). They are from 3,407 schools in Jakarta, comprising 2,937 schools (SD), 454 schools (MI), and 16 schools (SDLB).

In order to anticipate cheating actions among students, Jakarta Education Department has made a national exam sheet into four models. The material exam is drafted with a composition of 75 percent from the central government and 25 percent from Jakarta Provincial Government.

Marbun asserted that the exam sheet distribution is tightly guarded by police officers. His department also believes in the supervisors and Education Department ranks, ranging from the level of department until the school principal, in supervising the exam sheet. "I really believe they can supervise the sheet well. If there is exam leakage, I will close the exam," he stated.
The closing in question is by holding a meeting with the person who leaked the exam and giving strict sanction in the form of mutation positions until demotion.
Thus far, there has been no leakage of examination answer keys during national exam at the level of SMP and SMA. That is why he believes it would not happen in the upcoming exam.
Those exam sheets began to be distributed today to 12 districts and 52 sub-districts in five municipalities and one regency. The sheet was printed by PT Pura in Kudus, Central Java, arrived at the office of Education Department on Friday (5/16), at 10 PM.
