5 House Units of Row Village in West Jakarta Abandoned
Reported by TP Moan Simanjuntak | Translated by Anisah Mardhatilla
Land measuring mistake had caused five house units of row village program in RW 04, Kapuk Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-District, West Jakarta, get improper renovation. Due to small budget received by residents, five house units are abandoned since the budget provided is used up.
The mistake has been seen since the beginning, I have warned the consultant party, but their answer is only to be fixed later, but it turns out to be abandoned
One of houses is the house No.63 at RT 02/04, Kapuk Urban Village, which belongs to Minar (40) and Ngatijo (48). The house is now abandoned due to lack of budget and caused by consultant’s mistake in reviewing their land area.
Head of RW 04 Kapuk, Nurahmad (50), said that Minar gets Rp 54 million, considering his land area reaches 36 meter acre, however he only gets Rp 29,8 million.

There are 283 row village house units in total, 127 houses in RW 03 and 156 houses in RW 04 Kapuk Urban Village. According to Nurahmad, the row village program in his area does not match the initial concept which will take Batavian style, but in the real construction, the building concept is not same.
“We hope the West Jakarta Sub-Department of Public Housing and Government’s Buildings Management could give a way out. At least in the second phase construction, the Minar’s budget disbursement could be overtaken,” Nurahmad hoped.
Related to that, consultant from PT Andalusia Konsulindo, Budi Setiawan acknowledged the Minar’s house measuring mistake has been identified since the beginning. Unfortunately, the mistake cannot be re-evaluated since it is worried to hinder the other residents’ houses budget disbursement program because the disbursement is based on Jakarta governor signature.
“The mistake is in the planning phase in the re-verification process, the land area turns out to be wider,” explained Setiawan.
Setiawan assessed that the house owner is too forcing in fixing up his house as luxurious as it could be even though the maximal house wide only 36 square meter. “If the land area is wider, it forc
edly cannot be renovated roundly. They like to force everything and ended up with lack of budget,” Setiawan stated.Meanwhile West Jakarta Housing Sub-Department, Rohman Lizar, who were tried to be confirmed about that matter, could not be contacted since his cell phone was off.
