Rest Area in Pulogebang Terminal will Be Renovated

In his work visit at Pulogebang Terminal, Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono promised to renovate the rest area of the bus driver. Currently, the existing rest area is deemed inadequate.

According to him, the rest area is still sitting on the floor, making the bus driver physical condition is not healthy. "In the near future, we'll renovate the rest area to them, thus they feel comfortable and fresh while driving," he expressed, during his visit at Pulogebang Terminal, Saturday (11/12).

In that occasion, he got complaint from some bus crew related with condition of rest area. Because, it was only available in the room without carpet or mat.

As stated by Edi Martono (42), a PO Sinar Jaya bus driver. He stated, he had to bring pillows and mats to sleep when he would rest. After carrying passenger from Wonosobo, Central Java, he along with his other crew need an adequate rest area.

"Its condition is inadequate. We have to bring pillow or mat to sleep here. Supposedly it is provided by the government," he lamented.
