South Jakarta Administration is holding Gambang Kromong Festival on the yard of the Cipedak Urban Village office, Jagakarsa, Saturday (11/12). As many as 13 groups seen enlivening the festival that first time held.

In details, first winner will get coaching money Rp 4,000,000, second Rp 3,500,000, third Rp 3,000,000, first runner-up Rp 2,500,000 and second runner-up Rp 2,000,000.

"We want to improve appreciation and creativity of Gambang Kromong art in South Jakarta," he told, Saturday (11/12).
He added, in addition as a spectacle, the festival is also a means to build a strong community that will love art and traditional culture.
"In future, the same event can be held maturely. Thus it can be appreciated by many people," he stressed.
He also asks every similar activity should involve the people. Furthermore, it should be coordinated with the related unit thus people can participate in it.
