A tragic life felt by Efendi, (22), a citizen pf RT 05/01, Kalideres Urban Village, Kalideres Sub-District, West Jakarta. He is threatened suffer blindness because could not treat his myopic eyes since the last five years.
Efendi is only resigned and hoping there is a miracle of God someday to help getting out of his misery. In addition to hard to get the Social Security Providers (BPJS) with Rp 25,500 per person with class-III facilities, he is also difficult to meet his daily needs. All this time, he worked on other people's land with meager income.

His eyesight began to faint and he also relies on his interlocutor voice when communicating. He remains worked to meet daily needs for his wife and children who have not received the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) in the school. This condition is burdening on him, in the meantime he could only get Rp 10 thousand per day from the sale of cassava leaves and banana.
"Honestly, I highly hassles meet the daily needs and had to ask for help to someone else. To check my eyes, I need money to get to the community health center (Puskesmas)," he admitted, Tuesday (5/27).
He lived at his relative's house, and is very expecting generous assistance from people or government for eye surgery. By doing so, he could be working as usual.
Unfortunately, Head of West Jakarta Health Sub-Department, Widyastuti could not be contacted via cell phone when being confirmed on this matter.
Head of Kalideres Sub-District, Ahmad Ya'a acknowledged he does not know about one of his citizens who do not have the KJS. He suggested Efendi to check the eye, even though not having KJS. The way is by bringing ID card and Family Card copies to the puskesmas.
"According to Jakarta Governor's instruction, all Jakarta citizens can get free treatment at puskesmas, even though not having KJS. Regarding treatment referral or not, it depends on puskesmas side. We will try to help him by coordinating with puskesmas soon," he stated.
