At least 48 victims of Zahro Express in Muara Angke, Pluit, Penjaringan have been treated since Sunday (1/1) in hospitals. Those hospitals are Gatot Subroto RSPAD, RSCM, Atma Jaya, Tarakan, Budhi Asih and Pluit.

Due to disaster, the government is ready to cover them (victims)

Jakarta Health Dept Head, Koesmedi Priharto assured that the victims will be covered by the government.

"Due to disaster, the government is ready to cover them (victims)," he stated, Monday (1/2).

Further, Jakarta Health Dept Vice Head, Khafifah Any asserted still trying to provide service to the victim. As planned, the sector coordination about patient treatment cost will be held tomorrow.

"It's not yet decided today, but tomorrow. We will coordinate with hospital, BPJS and Jasa Raharja," he uttered.

He explains a few victims have been allowed to go home and will be free from treatment cost.

"We always update for its service. Hospital already has the victim data. Considering most are from outside of Jakarta," he said.
