The arrival of two Kemendagri officials is to deliver the Presidential Decree (Kepres) of Jokowi’s leave as Jakarta governor.
"We come sent by the Minister of Internal Affairs to convey the decree of Mr. Jokowi’s leave as the governor," said Susilo at the home office of Jakarta Governor of Jakarta, Sunday (6/1).

Furthermore, as mandated by Presidential Decree, the governor position will be taken over by Jakarta Vice Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama as Acting (Plt).
"As of today, June 1, 2014, until the determination of president – vice president election result by KPU (General Elections Commission) in late October and Mr Basuki becomes the Acting Jakarta Governor starting today as long as Mr. Jokowi is taking the leave," said Susilo .
Susilo denied that the Kemendagri was deliberately slowing down the leave decree to Jokowi because, according to the rule, the Jokowi’s decree can be submitted after KPU announce the official names of presidential - vice presidential candidates. Meanwhile the inauguration of the new president - vice president itself announced by KPU on yesterday Saturday (5/31), followed by the Presidential Decree release No. 52 of 2014 P dated May 31, 2014.
"We do not slow it down. The decree was just coming out last night due to waiting for the determination of presidential – vice presidential candidates which just announced by KPU yesterday afternoon," Susilo acknowledged.
While Kapuspen Kemendagri, Didik Suprayitno, added that referring to KPU schedule, Jokowi is expected to be off as the Jakarta Governor of DKI until August 22 to 24, 2014.
"But if there is a sue to the Constitutional Court, Mr. Jokowi’s off period will be extended until
October," Supriyatno added.The Kemendagri group arrived at Jokowi’s home office around 09.30 AM. The delegation intended to deliver the presidential decree of dismissal as governor for Jokowi.
