Pilkada Ballots in E. Jakarta Start Being Distributed

East Jakarta General Commission (KPU) began distributing ballots for the 2017 Local Election (Pilkada). As the initial stage, it will be distributed to Duren Sawit Sub-district and Jatinegara. 

Further, distribution should already be done before D-3 and D-1 at polling stations. Technically, it is handed over to each urban village

Nurdin, Chairman of East Jakarta KPU disclosed that ballots distribution is done until four days ahead. There are 2,006,397 ballots plus 51,935 back up ballots that will be distributed to 3,690 polling stations (TPS).

He detailed, 229,154 ballots will be distributed to Jatinegara Sub-district and 290,043 ballots to Duren Sawit Sub-district. Those are distributed to 419 polling stations in Jatinegara and 522 polling stations in Duren Sawit.

"Further, distribution should already be done before D-3 and D-1 at polling stations. Technically, it is handed over to each urban village," he stated, Tuesday (2/7).

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana ensured will escort distribution process along with urban village and sub-district heads.

"Car facility for instance, we are ready to prepare it," he closed.
