Culinary Center on Jalan Bendungan Walahar Inaugurated

The culinary center that accommodates 65 coaching traders on Jalan Bendungan Walahar, Bendungan Hilir Urban Village, Tanah Abang was inaugurated by Central Jakarta Administration on Thursday (12/9).

Traders must also keep order and comfort, including merchandise quality.

Central Jakarta Vice Mayor, Bayu Meghantara, appealed the traders to keep and maintain facilities that have been provided. Not only that, they were also reminded to sell orderly without stealing the pedestrian's right.

This is because it is given for free starting from construction until facilities such as tables, chairs, windows and refrigerators through corporate social responsibility (CSR).

"Here, we also involve private party in terms of construction and fund. We just facilitate social and public facilities thus we can arrange traders in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation No. 10/2015," he expressed.

Irwandi added they would be charged under retribution through Bank DKI auto debit worth Rp 3,000 per day or Rp 90,000 per month.

Aside that, those already have given training, like food presentation and hygiene. Then about food supervision, will be conducted by Regional Health Laboratory for Jakarta Provincial Government. Once in three months, they will examine content or ingredient in food and beverage products.
