20 Units of Transjakarta Cares Granted to City

It will help Transjakarta in optimizing the people with disabilities

City Provincial Government receives 20 vehicles of Transjakarta Cares worth Rp 3.126 billion. These vehicles, which can carry seven passengers, will be dedicated to people with disabilities, especially for poor people.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama disclosed, additional Transjakarta Cares vehicle is very important. Thus far, the city has six units. Eventually, the passenger will be brought to the nearest Transjakarta bus stop if they want to seek treatment in the hospital. 

Transjakarta Launches Service for Disabled People

"On behalf of the city government, thank you (Tahir Foundation) for your attention and help," he expressed, at City Hall, Friday (3/3).

PT Transjakarta President Director, Budi Kaliwono added, the existing six vehicles of Transjakarta Cares can serve between 30-40 passengers every day. By adding 20 units, the city already has 26 units.

"It will help Transjakarta in optimizing the people with disabilities. This donation will be used as good as possible, to give the best public service," he explained.

As for the information, Transjakarta Cares operates starting at 8 AM-5 PM. The passenger can book it by calling call center at 1500 102 or send short message (SMS) to 081111545001.
