1.2 Million Library Visitors Targeted This Year

Jakarta Library and Archieve Dept. is targeting 1.2 million visitors to visit the library this year.

Section Head of Deposit for Service Development and Preservation, Iwan Henry Wardhana said, with that target, 100,000 visitors could be absorbed each month.
RPTRA's Library Facilities will Be Added"Since January-February, library visitors was about 180,000 or at least 90,000 people each month. Our target is minimal 100,000 people each month, but it's still unoptimal because we're still doing improvement," he expressed, Sunday (3/5).
Neveetheless, he is optimistic it could be achieved. This is because, book collection has been added plus supporting facilities such as children's playground room, computer area, auditorium, etc.
"This March, the visitor begins increasing, especially in mid-month. Our mobile library car isnalso added and spread to the public," he stated.
