Illegal Parking, 42 Vehicles Netted in Kebayoran Baru

42 vehicles netted due to illegal parking raid that held by South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. in Pulo Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district. Seven of them were directly towed by personnel.

We had warned and socialized them before with banner installation

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. Head, Christianto, said there were five illegal parking points controlled by personnel. Those are on Jl. Dharmawangsa 8, Brawijaya XI, Wijaya III, Panglima Polim III, and around Kerbau Gajah Park.

"We had warned and socialized them before with banner installation. But, such as online ojek and taxi are still halt around Kerbau Gajah Park and Jl. Wijaya ," he said, Wednesday (4/8).

27 Vehicles Towed Due to Illegal Parking

In detail, he explained that 7 private cars were towed. While 25 motorcycles and 10 another private cars were flattened.

Meanwhile, Pulo Urban Village Head, Gita Puspita, added that her side also asked security personnel of mall or shop in that area to help socialize illegal parking ban.

"In the future, we will hold monitoring everyday and asking shop's security personnel to help organizing the parking thus vehicles not fill the road side," she closed.

There are 35 personnel from South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. and 40 personnel of Satpol PP, police, and TNI were deployed to control that area.
