Jakarta Culture and Tourism Dept.'s Art and Culture Training Center (PPSB) held batik training which is participated by 30 people. This training is held at PPSB Building on Jl. Yos Sudarso, North Jakarta.
Batik painting can become community creative industry
Jakarta Disparbud's PPSB Working Unit Head, Budiyono said, this activity's purpose is to preserve batik, not only in Jakarta but also in Indonesia. Besides, the participants are also expected to be batik artisan.
"Training is given by three instructors from Jakarta Institute of Arts (IKJ)," he said, Friday (4/21).

"Batik painting can become community creative industry. Next, we will also socializing it to art studios and schools," he closed.
