West Jakarta to Issue 1,000 SIUPs and TDPs

The West Jakarta Cooperative, Micro, Small, and Medium Scale Enterprises (KUMKMP) Sub-Department is targeting to issue 1,000 trade permits (SIUP) and company registrations (TDP) this year. From the target, 300 SIUPs and TDPs have been issued.

Head of Jakarta KUMKMP Department, Joko Kundaryo disclosed the SIUP and TDP are very important for entrepreneur. "The SIUP and TDP are very useful for entrepreneur to borrow money in bank in developing their business," he said, when he attended in Day One Service held by West Jakarta KUMKMP Sub-Department at Cengkareng Market (6/9).
He stated that One Day Service is a routine activity using jemput bola system (officers to take the initiative to visit residents) and held in traditional markets and malls.
City Eases SIUP and TDP Making ProcessHead of West Jakarta KUMKMP Sub-Department, Widodo expressed One day Service is held to achieve the issuance target of 1,000 SIUPs and TDPs in 2014.
To simplify entrepreneurs, he uttered, the SIUP and TDP can be processed through e-data via internet in each urban village office. "We're targeting to issue 50 SIUPs and TDPs. Thus far, 20 entrepreneurs have registered for proposing TDP and SIUP," he told.
Supriyandi, (41), one of peddlers at Cengkareng Market admitted he wants to formalize their business using SIUP. "Right now, I've got SIUP. I don't have spent money to process it. This is free," exclaimed a clothes trader.
