City-Bangka Barat Start Cattle Breeding Cooperation

Jakarta Provincial Government signed a cooperation agreement on cattle breeding and fattening program along with West Bangka Regency Government, in Graha Apparatus Building of West Bangka Regency, Wednesday (5/3).

Agreement itself was signed on September 8, 2016. And today is realization of cooperation signing

Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept. Head, Darjamuni said cooperation signing is to follow up agreement between Jakarta Governor and West Bangka Regent in terms of developing local cattle population, in order to meet the needs of meat in each region.

City-NTT Finalizing Cooperation of Local-Cattle Breeding

"Agreement itself was signed on September 8, 2016. And today is realization of cooperation signing," he expressed, Wednesday (5/3).

In that occasion, he continued, the city would provide 500 productive cows, synchronization, insurance, grass seeds, concentrate feed, lawn mower and medicines worth Rp 9,624 billion. While the beef seeds for fattening will be prepared by PD Dharma Jaya.

He added, management of cattle breeding and fattening lies in Jakarta BUMD and West Bangka BUMDes, will be done through intensive and extensive pattern with profit sharing system.
