City PMI's Blood Stock Safe

Blood stock in Jakarta PMI (Indonesian Red Cross) is still sufficient. Every day, Jakarta PMI providing 1,300 blood bags.

It is ensured that all blood types are currently available

Jakarta PMI Head, Muhammad Ali Reza said, the number of blood stock is not always stable. Because, PMI always selecting blood's condition and quality from blood donors.

"It is ensured that all blood types are currently available," he said at PMI building, North Jakarta, Monday (5/8).

He also added, Jakarta PMI is collaborated with several government institutions to hold blood donor event in fasting month. Moreover, PMI will also develop Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD) to add more sub unit n five City regions and Seribu Islands.

According to him, this program is currently running in North Jakarta and West Jakarta. While in other areas have not run yet.

"For example, UTD in Kramat Jati will be added a sub unit under Jakarta PMI. Thus all regions could have UTD," he closed.
