Last year, we could hit Rp 15.7 trillion. And this year we increase it up to 5 percent

The amount of transaction value on 2017 Jakarta Great Sale Festival (FJGS) is targeted to reach Rp 16.54 trillion. The value has increased 5 percent than last year, which reached Rp 15.7 trillion.

According to 2017 FJGS Head, Ellen Hidayat said the event is an annual agenda. Thus the amount of transaction value keeps increasing every year.

Jakarta Great Sale Festival Involving 40 Traditional Markets

"Last year, we could hit Rp 15.7 trillion. And this year we increase it up to 5 percent," he expressed, Friday (5/18).

According to him, such target is lower than previous years. Generally, the transaction value is set at eight percent every year.

"We deliberately lowered it up to 5 percent to be more realistic," he stated.

He is optimistic the target can be achieved. Considering there are 81 shopping centers, 12 hotels and 40 traditional markets involved.

"We're optimistic it can be achieved, because we involve many more. For traditional market, we managed to hit 100 percent. Last year, we just invited 20 markets, and now we have 40 markets," he uttered.
