341 Tipar Cakung Flat Units Emptying Canceled

Head of Jakarta Housing and Government’s Building Department Region III Flat Management Unit, Jefyodya Julian, said those 341 units are spread over three blocks, namely Jatisari, Puspa Indah, and Meranti. In total, there are 10 blocks consist of 100 units each in Tipar Cakung Flat.

All flat occupants are common citizens, who in the majority are the evictees of Pulomas Flat, Pulogadung, East Jakarta.
Especially for occupants in Jatisari Block Unit 306 on behalf of Setiadi Siregar, the unit’s execution had to be postponed because he is ill and on dialysis. Siregar is in arrears for 27 months of Rp 27.240 million, with a monthly fee of Rp 313 thousand.
One of the occupants in Puspa Indah Block Unit 309, who refused to tell her name, uttered that she has been in arrears for 53 months or equal to Rp 26 million. However, she cannot pay all at once because she does not have much money.
“In the past, we wanted to pay in installments of three months but the officers refused. They told to pay it all at once, but we do not have that much money, they did not let us to pay in installments,” she disclosed.
