West Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept. held food examination in four traditional markets and one coaching location (Lokbin). There were no found hazardous substances from 223 food samples examined.

From 223 samples examined, those are negative from hazardous substances

Marsawitri Gumay, Head of West Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept. disclosed examination towards three commodities of agriculture, livestock and fishery. Those are Meruya IIir coaching location (lokbin), Jembatan Dua Market Lokbin, Jembatan Lima Lokbin and Pejagalan Market Lokbin. 

"From 223 samples examined, those are negative from hazardous substances," he expressed, Tuesday (5/23).

According to him, if the food was dangerous, it would be seized and then burnt. It aims to avoid dangerous food consumed by the people.

"If it happens, we will soon burn it. And then we start to do investigation," he finished.
