94,368 Street Lighting (PJU) Lamps in North Jakarta, West Jakarta, and East Jakarta will be replaced with LED (Light Emitting Diode) in the end of June.

Jakarta Industry and Energy Dept.'s City Lighting Section Head, Syamsul Bakhri said, LED that will be installed consist of 40, 90, 120, and 200 watts. In detail, there are 50,178 LED lamps of 40 watts; 36,137 lamps of 90 watts; 4,871 lamps of 120 watts; and 3,182 lamps of 200 watts.
"According to the plan, the stuff will be arrived in June. Thus we can install it in the end of June," he said, Sunday (6/4).
Korea Offering LED Lamps to CityHe explained, 36,583 LED lamps will be installed in East Jakarta, while 40,557 lamps in West Jakarta and 17,228 lamps in North Jakarta. All of it will be installed on residential street, connecting road, and arterial road.
