South Jakarta Civil Servants Undergo Health Test

As many as 200 South Jakarta civil servants are undergoing an health test, at Ragunan Sport Hall (GOR), Pasar Minggu, Thursday (6/12). Those are required to run around the athletic field as far as 1.6 kilometers.
"The health test is conducted to know the employees' sports development index," said Head of Sports Development Section for South Jakarta Sports and Youth, Shinta Novijanti, Thursday (6/12).
Health Dept Asked to Open Free Medical Check Up at MarketsNovijanti disclosed employees are divided into 4 age categories, from in age of 20-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, and 50-59 years. "They have to run 4 rounds or 1.6 kilometers," she said.
She uttered there is still a standardization of time for the participants to complete the obligations. Yet it is distinguished in compliance with category. "The standardization consists of younger category and old category," she disclosed.
In addition to healthy employees, the test is also to know the health condition of employees early. "After the run, the employees then do the medical check-up. By so, they can know their health condition early," she told.
To motivate the employees, those who get the best score will get door prize. ''We provide door prize for the best time in each category. It aims to motivate the employees for more vigorous exercise and healthy living," stated Novijanti.
