Betawi Lebaran Event on July 28-30, Don't Miss It!

Jakarta will kick off the 2017 Lebaran Betawi event in the Setu Babakan Betawi Culture Village, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, that falls on July 28-30, 2017. 

Assistant for people's welfare and governance, Fatahillah said the committee provides 44 stands in the event. Based on the schedule, representatives from every urban village and sub-district in Jakarta will fill those stands, featuring Betawi culinary and handicrafts.

Lebaran Betawi Event will Be Held in Setu Babakan This Year

"In addition, there are also other tens of stands from outside sub-district and urban village," he expressed, after he held an event meeting, at Setu Babakan, Monday (7/10).

There will also be five city homes and one district home that filled by representatives from City Government and Regency. There is also a special home of Jakarta Governor. 

This year's agenda is also filled by various Betawi culture events, starting from lenong (folk play), mask dance, tanjidor, palang pintu (a door-bolting tradition), as well as city and Betawi artists.
