Dengue Case in C. Jakarta Decreasing Drastically

It has been noted that dengue fever case in Central Jakarta has decreased drastically along January-June 2017. In details, 90 people are infected by dengue where it is lower than the same period last year, which reached 894 patients. 

Central Jakarta Health Sub-dept. Head, Yuditha Endah Prihmaningtyas expressed giving placard to assess the vulnerable and dengue-free zones is able to motivate each region to intensively eradicate anti-mosquito campaign (PSN).

Dengue Case in North Jakarta Decreasing

"If the dengue case is high, we will give red placard. While for green placard will be given for the low case," he stated, Tuesday (7/25).

He explained it is deemed effective and able to decrease dengue case in his region.

Entering 2017, the number of dengue patients in Central Jakarta in one month is never reaching 40 people. In details, January has 31 patients, February has 12 patients, March has 13 patients, April has 13 patients, May has 9 patients and June 12 patients.

"Nevertheless we continued to coordinate with puskesmas, jumantik cadre, urban village, sub-district and resident to be more active in doing PSN," he stressed.
