West Jakarta Administration is going to activate halfway house at RW 07, Kampung Ambon or Permata Housing Complex, Cengkareng. It is conducted to eradicate drugs circulation.

West Jakarta Mayor, Anas Effendi disclosed the halfway house is filled by officers of Jakarta police, Satpol PP and BNN.

"We'll reactivate halfway house in Kampung Ambon to minimize drugs circulation there," he expressed, Wednesday (8/9).

He added, the city continues to make various efforts to eradicate drugs. One of them is by establishing the area of RW 07 Permata Housing Complex as a pilot village free of drugs, in 2016 ago.

"We continue to coordinate with police to eradicate drugs," he asserted.

It is stated related with the arrest of 29 drug users in Kampung Ambon, Monday (8/7) night. From the perpetrators, the police secured 22 packages of crystal methamphetamine weighing 11.84 grams worth Rp 6.025,000, four sharp weapons, 1 long-barreled wind rifle, 1 bong waterpipe, and 1 scales.
