The ranks of West Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. have controlled 1,888 motorcycles through Months of Orderly Sidewalk that have run since two weeks, precisely August 1-13, 2017.

West Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. Head, A Banjarnahor said, from 1,888 motorcycles netted, 266 out of them are public transportation vehicles made in a case dossier (BAP) by Transportation Dept. Then 693 motorcycles, 10 three-wheeled vehicles, and 563 cars are flattened. Further, 66 other motorcycles are grounded and 115 cars are ticketed by the police.

"We control them due to illegal parking on the sidewalk and the roadside," he expressed, Monday (8/14).

Aside that, orderly sidewalk socialization is also conducted intensively to the public.

"We do this to make sidewalks in West Jakarta sterile from illegal parking. And the pedestrians feel safe and comfortable," he closed.
