Jakarta DPRD Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi invites youth to enhance their role in development programs in the capital on the momentum of 72nd Independence Day anniversary.

"The young generation must awaken an intelligent, a critical and an innovative soul as the expression 'Youth Today is the Leader of Tomorrow," he expressed, at City Council building, Wednesday (8/16).

According to him, the good and bad of a country depend on the attitude of the young generation. Therefore, youth institutions are hoped able to play an active role in development programs in Jakarta.

"When we deviate, it has become the duty of the youth to remind," he exclaimed.

He also asks youth institutions to take concrete steps in development, either physical development or human development through empowerment programs.

"They should have extra spirits to improve the civilization system into a better direction," he stated.
