Jakarta DPRD Commission E Vice Chairman, Ashraf Ali instructs youth who are members of the youth group Karang Taruna to be active and creative again. Thus the existence of Karang Taruna will be more felt for the people and the environment.

"Fund for Karuna Taruna operational is very minimal, which is Rp 2 million per year. But, starting this year, it has been increased Rp 20 million per year," he expressed, Friday (8/18).
He expressed, its existence is still important. Some of them are to support the government in organizing youth with positive activities, especially creating new cadres in each region, either it is from the level of urban village, sub-district and city.
Karang Taruna Must Actively Combat DrugsAdditionally, there must be cooperation with local leaders from urban village head, sub-district head and mayor. It is done to assist the government in realizing and succeeding its work program.
