6,319 Sacrificial Animals Examined by C. Jakarta KPKP Sub-department

Central Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Sub-dept. has examined 6,319 sacrificial animals on sale in 133 selling locations. Personnel marked the unqualified animals.

"Until August 28, we have examined 6,319 animals in 133 sacrificial animal selling locations," said Bayu Sari Hastuti, Head of Central Jakarta KPKP Sub-dept., Tuesday (8/29).

According to her, there are 853 cows, 5,343 goats, and 123 sheeps examined. Those animals are from outside of Jakarta, such as Magelang, Bali, Madura, Wonosobo, Boyolali, Garut, even Lampung.

Her side did not find any sick cows in this examination. But there were two goats diagnosed sick and two others were not old enough.

"For two sick goats, we suggest to return it. Besides we also mark them thus people not buying them," she closed.
