Transportation Dept. & Polda Metro Jaya Continue to Control Traffic Offenders

Jakarta Transportation Dept. and Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate continue to cooperate in cracking down on traffic offenders in the capital.

Since 2015, we have been cooperating with Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate to crack down on traffic offenders

Jakarta Transportation Dept. Head, Andri Yansyah disclosed, synergy that exists is entwined in Lintas Jaya operation program that has been done since 2015.

Maximum Fine Applied for Traffic Offender

"Since 2015, we have been cooperating with Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate to crack down on traffic offenders," he said, after he attended the Bhayangkara Traffic's 62nd anniversary at the parking lot of Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate, South Jakarta, Sunday (9/24).

Not only that, both are also cooperating to intensify services by eradicating illegal levies (pungli) via computerization system.

"All payment systems are already via banks," he asserted.

Jakarta Police spokesperson Sr. Comr. Chrysnanda Dwi Laksana explains, synergy with Transportation Dept. is one of the joint efforts to realize security, safety and order in driving.

"This is to realize security, safety and traffic order in an integrated manner," he finished.
