North Jakarta Police Confiscated 487 Liquor Bottles

Ahead of the fasting month of Ramadhan and presidential election in upcoming July, Tanjung Priok Port Resort Police, North Jakarta, held Cipta Kondisi Operation. As a result of the operation, 487 bottles of liquor were confiscated and 158 people secured.

Of the 158 people secured, 21 of them are arrested while 137 others will be given guidance

Tanjung Priok Port Resort Police Chief AKBP Asep Adi Saputra said that Cipta Kondisi Operation was carried out for 10 days on June 13-23. The liquors were confiscated from stores around Tanjung Priok Port as well as Muara Angke, Sunda Kelapa, and Kalibaru areas. Meanwhile, the 158 people were secured for doing criminal acts, such as gambling, stealing using violence (curas), motor vehicle theft (curanmor), cell phone theft, receive stolen motorcycles, crystal methamphetamine possession, and carried air soft gun.

“Of the 158 people secured, 21 of them are arrested while 137 others will be given guidance,” he stated, Tuesday (6/25).

Violating Agreement, 10 Cadgers' Carts Confiscated

Besides confiscating 487 bottles of liquor, the officers also seized 4 cell phones, 1 firearm, 1 air rifle, 1,100 bullets, crystal methamphetamine weighing 5.5 grams, marijuana weighing 2.1 kilograms, and 4 motorcycles.
