Jakarta DPRD, asking Jakarta Provincial Government to improve skills training for the people to suppress unemployment rate in the capital.

Jakarta DPRD's Commission Secretary, Darussalam disclosed, from the recess results by the council member, one of the important notes gained is the employment issue.

With skills training, he hoped, citizens could create their own jobs while suppressing unemployment rate.

"Skills training is needed, thus people no longer stuck looking for work or become employees, but become entrepreneurs who create jobs," he expressed, Tuesday (10/31).

By so, citizens can hone their skills. Further, the city can provide business capital assistance with soft loans to people who have the expertise to open a business.

"Such as training of workshop, culinary, language private test should be added. With this training, can be used to make their own business," he asserted.

Responding on the matter, Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Dept. Head, Priyono uttered his party was to improve training and employment in the capital.

"Input from the council is great. Later on, we will record first citizens who want to be self-employed," he closed.
