The visit was as a bridge in overcoming Alzheimer's problems in Indonesia.

Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia 3 Social House Head, Marjito said, the house devoted to the neglected elderly has the potential to experience Alzheimer's or dementia.

"Most patients have forgotten the home address and some have requested to eat again whereas before they have done it. These are signs of Alzheimer's," he expressed, Thursday (11/2). 

In the capital, he assessed, there should be socialization of Alzheimer's treatment. It is because, there are often found abandoned elderly on the streets. He deemed, the existence of Social Dept. officers in the field cannot necessarily solve the problem without followed by socialization about the symptoms of Alzheimer's.

"We do this to make those who indicated Alzheimer's not lost from home and abandoned on the streets," he expressed.

Therefore, his side has cooperated with Indonesian-Netherlands Alzheimer to share knowledge and knowledge in dealing with Alzheimer's.

Indonesian-Netherlands Alzheimer Coordinator, Amalia uttered the visit was as an initial collaboration to develop further relationships. "We hope it can be a long-term relationship and there are ideas and input from the government submitted to us," she hoped.
