MTU Program Gains Human Resource Quality, Pramono Says

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung visited the Mobile Training Unit (MTU) at KS Tubun Rented Flat, West Jakarta, Friday (5/2).

Pramono said that the MTU program is held to answer the challenges of Jakarta as a Global City, where improving the quality of Human Resources (HR) is the main key.

Pramono added that the MTU program is a priority for his first 100 days of work since it is greatly needed by residents who did not yet have jobs.
"Hopefully this program will provide benefit for residents who have no jobs yet," he added.
The training participants will get certificate to support them finding a job. Pramono believes this program gives positive contribution for residents.
Pramono continued Jakarta Provincial Government will also provide affordable capital assistant through the Peoples Business Credit (KUR). The step is taken since many residents remain face capital problem for starting their business.
"I appeal agency heads to provide input for me to get the program benefit," he continued.
Jakarta Transmigration, Manpower and Energy Agency Head, Hari Nugroho explained the training is participated by 80 percent of the flat residents. Similar program to be held in other places.
"The number of participants in 2024 were 2,300 people, and now it grows to 2,700 people," he explained.
People who want to register the training must propose a letter from RT/RW, karang taruna, urban village or district heads submitted to the agency.
His side will conduct location checking and assesment after receiving the letter. The training will be held 20 days and participants will get certificate.
"We'll provide certificate as a support for them getting a job," he admitted.
