Anies Explains His Visions and Missions to Lead Jakarta in Plenary Meeting

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan gives a speech regarding his visions and missions to lead Jakarta for five years ahead in plenary meeting at City Council Building, Wednesday (11/15).

"We're working for development of Jakarta. We will solve various problems by involving related government institutions," he said.
He conveys his visions and missions to develop Jakarta five years ahead are in line with his promises in campaign, which are to make Jakarta as an advanced, conservative, and cultured.
Anies Submits APBD 2018 to DPRD"The philosophy of these visions are civilization, justice, and prosperity to Jakartans. These become important foundation in development," he stated.
He affirmed, development is not only focused on physical building such as magnificent infrastructure with modern technology. But also human development through repair in education quality, health, security, prosperity and happiness to Jakartans.
According to him, physical and human development must be supported by development in culture and community involvement. People are not only participating, but also the main power of development.
He stressed his side will do at least five missions to strengthen such visions. First is to create Jakarta that is safe, healthy, smart, and cultured city by strengthening family values and creativity space through leadership that is involving, mobilizing, and humanizing.
Second, Anies and Sandiaga Uno will make Jakarta as a city that enhances general welfare through employment, basic needs affordability and stabilization, enhancement on social justice, infrastructure acceleration, investment and business easiness, and spatial planning improvement.
"These missions are in line with national development. We want to ensure people from various classes can experience city development and will fight for social justice for all," he uttered.
Third, Jakarta will be made into a place for civil apparatus to work, serve and solve city and people's problems effectively, meritocracy, and integrity.
Fourth, that is transforming Jakarta into a conservative city by supporting development and life order through environment and social strength. Main concept for this mission is continuous development.
"Continuous development principle is the key to repair Jakarta environment quality," stated Anies.
Lastly, Jakarta will be made into dynamic capital as a node of Indonesia's advancement that is characterized by justice, nationality, and diversity.
"Those missions are representing Jakarta as the miniature of Indonesia since it is a capital with diversities," he closed.
