Disadvantaged Communities Ensured to Get Health Service

Jakarta Health Dept. (Dinkes) will ensure disadvantaged communities in Jakarta to get health service through Health Social Security Administrator (BPJS).

Jakarta Dinkes Head, Koesmedi Priharto said health insurance services budget amount in City Budget (APBD) 2017 is Rp 627 billion. While in Revised City Budget is increased into Rp 1.029 trillion.
"We have proposed Rp 1.582 trillion for Health BPJS premium payment budget for next year," he mentioned, Wednesday (12/13).
70 People of Makasar Sub-district Participating in BPJS SocializationHe explained, number of Health BPJS premium aid beneficiaries (PBI) for Jakartans reaches 3,871,280 people up to October. While in 2018, it is projected to reach 5,732,908 beneficiaries.
"Obtained benefits are inpatient room class III and free medical examination in Puskesmas or RSUD or other hospitals that cooperate with Health BPJS," he added.
According to him, patient handling is number one. Though for Jakartans who don't have Health BPJS and only have ID card and Family Card (KK) will be handled in Puskesmas or RSUD.
"Health service will become easier. People just need ID card and KK, then we will help them to register Health BPJS," he affirmed.
Thus he asked disadvantaged communities who don't have Health BPJS to report to the nearest Puskesmas or RSUD and bring ID card and KK.
"Apparatuses in urban village will be also proactive. Because number of Health BPJS registration will become urban village's Key Performance Indicator (KPI)," he stated.
He reminds people to check their health before the illness becomes severe. Because Health BPJS could be used only for early check up.
"This is important to avoid it than to cure it," he conveyed.
Meanwhile, Jakarta Health Dept.'s Secretary, Een Haryani added, regarding to Governor Regulation (Pergub) No. 169/2016 article 6 paragraph 1 about Health Insurance Service and Membership, Health BPJS beneficiaries categorized as Non-Waged Workers (PBPU) with Jakarta ID will be directed to be PBI with requirements:
First, new participants is in class III. Second, participants haven't paid for one month premium in class III. Then, participants who have been registered in class I or class II before but haven't paid premium for 6 months in a row.
"Health insurance service which is related to unpaid premium is mentioned in BPJS Regulation No. 6/2016 chapter III about treatment for unpaid health insurance premium," she stated.
Jakarta Health Dept., she continued, is committed to give an easiness in health service, especially for disadvantaged communities. Besides, facilities and tools in Puskesmas and RSUD are needed to be improved.
"Health service access for disadvantaged communities is still become our priority," she said.
