Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub) and PT. Transjakarta explained OK OTrip program to City Council Commission B, Tuesday (12/19).

Commission B Chairman, Yusriah Dzinnun said this meeting purpose is to know OK OTrip program in detail.

Sandi: OK OTrip, Affordable Transportation ProgramAccording to her, this program which is planned by Governor and Vice Governor is considered good to optimize public service. Thus it needs extra preparation, from its trial to implementation.
"We want it to be 100 percent ready. Don't continue if its preparation is not ready," she affirmed.
At the same place, Jakarta Transportation Dept. Head, Andri Yansyah explained, OK OTrip program is motivated by high transportation fare in Jakarta. According to survey, most Jakartans need to set aside 30 percent of their salary for transportation needs.
"Besides, current public transportation usage is still low with average use of 25 percent," he informed.
He conveyed, each person just need to pay Rp 5,000 for one trip through OK OTrip program.
"Other advantage is people can use various public transportation in one trip tariff," he mentioned.
